Skoda Superb Look
According to Skoda the Superb brings with it the Vision C concepts styling to production, this car has a powerful but emotionally rich appearance to it although this car has shorter overhang than the car it replaces but actually has a longer wheelbase. The larger wheels to the more sloping roof line towards the rear, the contoured surface and the sculptured shape all adds to the cars styling. This saloon according to the manufacturer is more practical and offers more space inside.
The front fascia of the sedan is dominated by the wide grille and the sharp looking headlamps, the Skoda logo is placed towards the Bonnet’s nose while the Bonnet in particular looks strongly contoured while the two separate lines which runs inwards helps in providing more strong appearance towards the front. While the side profile of the car speaks of the cars dynamics, there is a razor sharp line which Skoda calls tornado line. There is one more line which flows towards the lower half of the car. The narrow pillars along with the sloping roofline give the sedan a coupe like styling.

The Skoda Superb just floats over rough edges and potholes with fantastic damping that keeps away the clunks. There are high profile tyres that further make the ride cushy at low speeds. You don’t feel the stiffness as the India spec Superb is more comfort oriented. You might have to compromise a wee bit in the handling department because of the softer ride, there is a hint of body roll when you push it hard. Otherwise the Superb responds to steering inputs very briskly and is quite agile for its size on the ghat sections. There are some driving modes on offer including Eco, Normal, Sport and Individual. These modes alter steering responsiveness, engine and transmission.
